Job Description

As the Quality Engineering and Testing (QE&T) India Practice Leader, the person will play a pivotal role in modernizing our QE&T practice, focusing on the Financial Services sector globally. Reporting directly to the Global QE&T Practice Leader, the responsibilities encompass developing and executing strategic testing methodologies tailored to the financial industry. With a strong leadership approach, you will guide the team to deliver high-quality quality engineering services while aligning strategies with global and regional business objectives.
This role requires an in-depth understanding of quality engineering, testing practices, and local regulatory nuances. Collaboration with stakeholders, business units, and technology leaders is critical to ensure seamless integration of QE&T into the financial services lifecycle.
The QE&T India Practice Leader is instrumental in upholding industry compliance, fostering innovation, and shaping the future of Quality Engineering in the industry.
The candidate should have an innovative mindset; the firm seeks not only a strong leader who can articulate a vision, but one who can also drive execution of that vision in a very concrete manner that results in tangible business outcomes.

This candidate will have direct influence on the future of our QE&T organization. This person will be responsible for:

• Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the QE&T team in India, aligning strategies with the Global QE&T Practice Leader's vision. The person will be part of the ExCo for the practices. Foster an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Strategy Development: Formulate and implement innovative QE&T strategies tailored to the unique requirements of the Indian financial services sector. Collaborate with global QE&T leaders to support market development in their localized regions.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with financial industry clients globally, understanding their QE&T needs, and ensuring the delivery of effective solutions.
• Delivery Management: collaborate with our account teams to support successful completion of the complex projects. Engage with solutions teams on strategic growth initiatives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local and global regulatory requirements, ensuring QE&T practices align with compliance standards.
• Quality Engineering: Oversee the implementation of robust quality engineering processes, driving continuous improvement in QE&T methodologies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and technology experts to seamlessly integrate QE&T into the financial services lifecycle. Collaboration also required with industry product partners to develop tools and methodologies.
• Transformation and Modernization: collaborate with global leaders to define the future skills make-up of our quality engineering team. Curate comprehensive training programs balanced with strategic market hiring to augment the skills makeup of delivery organization.
• Market awareness and CSR: participate in external facing publications, podcasts and events to promote Organisation brand recognition.
• Talent Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the QE&T practice, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of industry trends.
• Innovation: With a dedicated focus on Generative AI, drive innovation within the QE&T community to incubate cutting edge solutions. Collaborate with global teams to enhance and industrialize quality engineering focused solutions and IP.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in Quality Engineering and Testing roles in the financial services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of quality engineering, testing practices, and the local financial industry landscape.
• Strong understanding of local and global regulatory requirements impacting the financial industry.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective QE&T strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation in QE&T practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or industry certifications preferred
